About Us

Based in Copacabana, Central Coast Maths Club was founded in 2024 by Shirley Chan and Simon Yin. Our mission is to provide high-quality mathematics support that helps students bridge the gap between classroom learning and true mastery of the subject.

What began as a personal commitment to guiding our own children through the high school curriculum has grown into a professional passion for helping students across the Central Coast build lasting academic confidence.

As parents with extensive tutoring experience and strong mathematical backgrounds, Central Coast Maths Club bring a mature and balanced perspective to every session.

We understand the specific challenges of the current NSW curriculum and the pressure students face as they progress toward their senior years.

Our approach is centered on conceptual clarity and patience—ensuring students fill foundational gaps while developing the resilience to tackle complex problems. When you partner with us, you are choosing mentors genuinely invested in your child’s success. We provide a calm, professional environment designed to replace 'maths anxiety' with a genuine sense of achievement.

Central Coast Maths Club is member of the Australian Tutoring Association who is Australia’s peak national body representing tutoring organisations and educational tutors nationally. As ATA members, we are bound by and fully committed to the ATA Code of Conduct. . This ensures we provide transparent, ethical, and high-quality tutoring services.
